Joel's story
We don't know if it's true or not.. but some says that Joel Madden actually wrote this story! We're not so sure about that, but it was funny anywas. Enjoy!
Cash pounced onto Joel's bed, waking him.
"God, Cash. Down boy" Joel groaned.
Cash looked at him with pleading eyes.
"No, down. Off my bed."
Cash continued looking at Joel for some sympathy.
"No, off." Joel said once more before he pushed Cash off his bed and laid his head back down on his pillow. He went back to sleep once again.
Moments later Cash came back into Joel's room and hopped onto the bed. Joel looked at him.
"What do you want, dog?"
Cash looked at him, not moving.
"Fine, I'll get up. Damn dog." Joel pushed the covers off him and planted his feet on the ground as he wiped the sleep from his eyes. Cash jumped off the bed and walked out the door.
Joel watched him leave. He got up and followed him.
"Hey, you woke me up, get back here."
Cash walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. Joel followed his dog. He could see that Cash was looking down at his empty food dish.
"What? You want food?"
Cash stared at him.
Joel bent down and filled Cash's bowl. He stood and petted him for a few minutes.
He glanced at the clock. Only fifteen minutes after noon. Lunch time. Joel smiled as he made his way over to the refridgerator. He opened it and looked inside. Nothing once again. He looked into the cupboard. he picked out a box of cereal. Only crumbs. Damn you Benji.
"That boy better be at the store," he said to himself outloud, "another day of toast. Great."
Joel grabbed the bag of bread and pulled out two slices and then plopped them into the toaster oven. He waited in the kitchen, he eyed Cash.
"Hey dog, what's up?" Cash walked over to Joel. He sat down by Joel's feet obediantly.
Joel picked up Cash's front paws and began dancing about the kitchen. Cash tried to get away from his grasp but failed.
"I'mma dancing with my dog. Oh yes, I'm dancing with my dog."
Finally Joel let go fo Cash. He walked back to the toaster to retrieve his breakfast.
He sat down at the table and lated the long awaited meal. He sat looking out the window until he heard a noise from outside the front door followed by a familiar voice.
"Damned pickles," he heard.
Finally he could hear the door open and close followed by his twin brother, Benji, entering the room.
"Did you finally go to the store?" Joel asked.
"Yeah, but if you wanted any pickles, they're outside."
"What are they doing there?"
"Sun-bathing, what do you think?"
"I think you're an idiot so you dropped my pickles," Joel retorted.
"That's only half true." Benji shot back.
"So then where are my pickles, idiot?"
"Shut up," Benji put the groceries away. "Say, it's not that bad being an idiot. At least I'm dressed." he looked at Joel who was only wearing boxers and a white wifebeater.
"What?" Joel looked down at himself.
"Dude, are those the one smiley face boxers Mom gave you?" Benji laughed.
Joel's face turned red. "N-no.."
"So then where'd you get 'em?" Benji asked.
"Okay, I got 'em from Mom. Now shut up about my underwear."
"Oh, Joel, I got these for you. They're smiley, they're cute, oh and have these heart boxers too," Benji said in a feminine voice to mock their mother."
"Fuck you Benjamin," Joel looked at his twin.
"Ouch, harsh words little one."
Joel shook his head. “Benji, Benji, Benji..” He walked to his room.
“Come on Cash, my little home-dog.,” he chuckled to himself and pet his dog.
“Where you going, Joel?” Benji asked, “we have practice today. You know that,”
Joel froze. “We do? Oops.”
Benji nodded. “Uh-huh. So you better hurry before Billy and Paul get here. I know they don’t wanna see you walking around in your boxers.”
Joel laughed. “And you do?”
Benji shook his head. “No,”
“Liar, we look the same,”
“I never said I liked seeing myself in boxers,”
“Then what’s with all the ‘Oh yeah, Benji you’re looking good today,’ in the mornings?” Joel laughed. Benji blushed.
“Like you don’t talk to the mirror?” Benji asked defensively.
“No actually, I don’t. I’m not a freak like you,”
Benji put his hand on his heart. “Ouch, that really hurts dear ol’ brother of mine,”
Joel laughed and walked into his room. He spotted Cash dog. He walked over to him and began stroking him.
“You’re a good boy, yeah” Joel subtly tied a bandana around Cash’s front paw. Joel grinned to himself. “Oh yeah, my dog rocks.”
Benji knocked on his door. “Come on, bro. You better be dressed. Billy and Paul are here.”
“Okay,” Joel called to him and quickly dressed then looked in his mirror.
He nodded to himself. “With my mic in my hand and my hand on my junk,” he said as he grabbed the crotch of his pants. He walked out of the room and into the living room where his friends had been waiting.
He could see that Benji, Paul and Billy were all laughing. Someone must’ve made a joke or something.
“What’s so funny?” Joel asked.
Billy cracked up laughing. He formed his hand into a fist and put his other hand on his crotch. “With my mic in my hand and my hand on my junk,” he said, “Peace ya’ll,”
Everyone laughed. Everyone but Joel. His face had turned a shade of pink or red.
“Awe, he’s blushing.” Paul laughed and pinched Joel’s cheeks. “Isn’t he precious?”
They all laughed more. Joel laughed a little from the embarrassment
